Alstom lays the foundation of São Paulo metro's line 4
On 25 May, São Paulo State authorities officially launched the first 2 stations of the new line 4 of Sao Paulo's Metro (Paulista and Faria Lima). This opening inaugurated the initial 3.6 km central section of the line.
As a part of the consortium Via Amarela, Alstom supplies all the infrastructure for the line, including power supply, telecommunications, passenger information and local control systems as well as auxiliary equipment (escalators, elevators and air conditioned for the stations).
The other nine stations that will be part of the line are expected to be all launched until October this year.
