The first Citadis Dualis tram-train forum

On 1 June 2010 the first Citadis Dualis tram-train forum was held on the Alstom Transport site at Valenciennes, organised jointly with the SNCF. Before more than 120 participants, in the presence of a large number of elected representatives and representatives of French regional transport authorities, speakers discussed economic, sociological, technical and financial crossed themes…

An important first occasion for an extremely innovative product, destined to provide an answer to the mobility needs of the future. Polyvalence, accessibility, modularity, safety, comfort, environment: all the characteristics of the Citadis Dualis and the Tram-Train service were evoked. The participants were then invited on board a train set for a full scale test on the Valenciennes Centre test track . The day ended with a visit to the production and assembly workshops.
