Alstom and IED launch a design competition on the theme of urban transport

Alstom Transport and the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) have launched a design competition on the theme of the future of urban transport in connection with the Year of Design in Turin and sponsored by different institutional Italian partners¹.

21 July 2008During the first quarter of 2008/09 (from 1 April to 30 June 2008), the level of orders booked by Alstom, at €6.6 billion, remains very healthy, confirming the favourable trend recorded over the last periods. Sales, at €4.5 billion, continued to grow, up by 11%.

Fleet Console wins prestigious Railway Industry Innovation Award

Irish Transport Minister applauds successful tram extension programme
On Monday 26 May, Alstom marked the entry into service of the final extended Citadis tram in the company of Noel Dempsey, Minister for Transport, Ambassador of France, Yvon Roe d`Albert and Deputy Mayor of South Dublin , Derek Keating.
