Alstom finalises a contract worth 90 million euros for the supply of the Rabat tramway
16 May 2008Alstom has signed a contract worth 90 million euros with the Agence pour l’Aménagement de la Vallée du Bouregreg (Bouregreg Valley Development Agency - AAVB) for the supply of 22 trams, each consisting of two Citadis trainsets, for the future Rabat-Salé network.
Alstom joins the proceeding as a civil party
16 May 2008Alstom has joined the proceeding as a civil party on Friday 16 May, in the framework of a legal procedure ongoing in Switzerland and in France to which the name of the company has been associated, relating to possible misuse of company assets detrimental to Alstom.

On 9 April, the Reichshoffen plant in France, which is responsible for UFR (wheelchair user) area development studies for the R1 trailer, presented a full-scale mock-up car to Marie-Christine Cottin, head of accessibility for the SNCF, as well as disability group delegates (representing those with reduced mobility, the deaf and hard-of-hearing, and those with height issues).
